Chop/Join Service
In addition to the standard stock and non stock items, FACTS also permits the moulding distributor to provide chop/join services.
· Chop, join, rail, length options pop-up when a moulding sku is keyed during order entry.
· Quantity, dimensions and special
instructions of ordered chop/joins are requested.
· Footage determined automatically based on the “united length” calculations.
· Reprice options review all items on the order for combined group discounts.
Flexible Pricing
- Pricing by the foot, box, each, pack, chop, join, rail, sheet, case, i.e., is readily handled with standard FACTS pricing matrices.
· Quantity breaks on a single or multiple items allow for group discounts i. e, quantity price discounts on chops, joins, matboard, length moulding, etc.
· Specific customer pricing and discounts are readily setup and easily maintained.
· Promotional pricing with automatic start and end dates, can be established for specific customer/item or customer groups.
Chop Variance
Pulled footage are compared against invoiced footage and calculated variances can be
reported by item, by mfg, by warehouse.
Process and Picking Locations
Locations throughout the warehouse can be defined for printing the different work orders for wood chop, metal chop, join, glass cut, as well as different pick areas for matboards, supplies, etc.Integration with other FACTS Modules
The FACTS Moulding solution provides a seamless integration to all other FACTS modules , i.e. purchasing, inventory, sales orders,
mfg control, receivables, sales analysis, disbursements, and financial accounting.
· Manufacturing process and/or readymade production can be scheduled and tracked via the Manufacture Control Module,
handling both raw materials and finished goods.
· Commissions earned and due reported and tracked by the Sales Analysis Module.
· Interaction with the Inventory Control
Module provides timely on-hand, available, committed and on purchase order item quantities.
· Automatic check for customer AR credit, duplicate orders, “popup” customer service notes, special pricing, past sales inquiry, pricing targets, and “popup” item notes all
provide for increased customer service levels.
· Sales of stock or non-stock items, direct ships, multi-warehouse shipping and/or transfers requests are routinely handled.
